Coming back looking for friends?

How do I find people to make friends I’m level 380 I’m on pc so I try and use the discord I’m not comfortable in raids yet and no one seems to want to help or respond. I’ve done a couple raids and am trying to make a build so I don’t die as much I truly love this game and I love coming back to it but everytime I do it’s the same thing of I don’t have anyone to play with and I lose interest bc I can’t solo end game content I am eastern time zone
