Trustfire Minix3 first impression.
I initially got myself an Arkfeld Pro, and then I saw that Trustfire made an interesting analog flashlight of this form factor, the Minix3. I've been following Trustfire products for a long time, and sometimes buy their most interesting products, but after comparing it to the Olight flashlight, I was a bit disappointed.
Pros of the Minix3: - Compact. - Type-C. - 1 more light source, making it a bit more versatile. - Powerful magnet (stronger than arkfeld). - More color options.
Cons: - All light sources are less powerful, especially UV and laser (but not critical, still perform their functions). - Anodizing quality is worse, anodizing defects appeared during testing of the magnet. - Laser and visible white light cannot be used simultaneously. - UI is less intuitive, and the light source switch is absolutely awkward to use.
In general, the flashlight turned out to be good, but minor little things and disgusting light source switch spoil the impression of the device.
