Optimal way to make a spreadsheet for learning new words?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but for 2025 my goal is to learn a new word every day. I'm a native English speaker, but want to expand my vocabulary. I don't use excel much but think it would be a good place.

If you were to track something like this, what columns would you suggest? Is there a recommended way to make it look nice, to filter easily, etc.?

Right now I'm thinking of date, word, type of word (adj, noun, verb, etc.), definition, and example sentence. I'm not sure if that's enough or too much.

Basically, I'm just curious if anyone has ideas or suggestions for what they would do to make a tracker for something like this? Thanks!
