Taxes?

Can anybody tell me how taxes work for this? Is it a 1099 situation where at the end of the year I’m just responsible for paying all the taxes that aren’t getting taken out? Or are they taken out and I just don’t see or know? Just wondering since you get the exact amount of money that you make and it doesn’t tell you anything about taxes.
