Tayda kit without sound
This is the 1st time I build a kit from Tayda rather than using veroboard or assembling a mash up of components.
I followed the steps describe in https://www.taydakits.com/instructions/treble-booster-brian-may/pages/designators-and-components--13 and https://www.taydakits.com/instructions/treble-booster-brian-may/pages/enclosure-and-wiring--10 , but even with the pedal off, there is no sound. The only thing that works is the led. The photo was taken before installing the transistor into the socket.
Do I need to add a jumper for the battery wires? I followed the exact steps, except for adding a resistor for the led to avoid burning it and adding a switch to turn on/off extra capacitors as I did with a previous build that was a "salad" of components.
