Beginner here, struggling with distance and control

Hello, I've been playing disc golf at my local park it has 2 courses of 18 holes. Still very much a beginner, I'm struggling getting the disc to go far and where i need them to go. If i try to add power i release the disc way outside of where it needs to go and ends up causing me to add an extra shot or 2 to correct it. My best round of 18 holes was +17. 17 holes are par 3, last one is par 4.

My farthest drive is 225ft, I have a few disc i use, I like my streamline drift 160g, I have a neutron pyro, and for putting i have a judge. I have a few others that i don't use as much as they are very hard to use, a mvp tesla 175g, mvp photon 175g, I thought when buying disc that since they had larger speed that i could throw them farther but i was very wrong, they just made the issue worse. that's when i lowered the weight and the speed and got the streamline drift.

How can i practice getting better drives to reduce my throws, usually for par 3 it takes me on average 2-3 throws to get near the basket, which usually will make me have +1 or +2 depending if i over correct my putts.

As far as form should i be doing a run up, or just throw off the tee without a run up until i get a good control

should i only be using a putter/mid range as my disc to get the basics down?

Just need some direction to improve my game, I just want to get par, the course i have is very simple, not many hazards or technical shots, distance to basket is about 275-350ft average the 18 hole is 500ft though par 4.
