Can a Vevor 8kWh diesel Heater run on petrol/gasoline?

Edit: do not put gasoline in a diesel heater. I asked it, because I didn't know the deadly dangers coming with it. Do not put gasoline in a diesel heater.

Edit 2: I drained the gasoline out of the tank and put diesel back in. After two tries, it started up and working great again.

As the title suggests, I’d like to know how to tune the Vevor heater to run on gasoline.

Since I’ve seen that some other diesel heaters can run on gasoline, I decided to give it a try—with some luck on the first run. The first run went fine, probably because there was still some diesel left in the fuel line. Once it started, I let it run for about six hours successfully.

The first thing I noticed was that the core temperature was around 30°C lower than usual in manual mode at level 1. It stayed around 130°C, so I increased it to level 3 to match the normal core temp seen on level 1 with diesel.

However, the second run failed with an E10 Startup Failure. After trying for a few minutes, it started again and ran for a while.

But now, I can't get it to run on gasoline anymore... It keeps giving the E10 code.

I tried warming up the heater with an electric heater aimed at the unit and the intake, thinking that the very low intake temperature (around freezing point here) might be the issue. I did hear some flames starting up, but they failed after 2-3 seconds.

After several attempts, I mixed some fresh motor oil into the gasoline, thinking that maybe the gasoline was too thin. I did this because I’ve previously burned diesel mixed with used oil, and that worked fine. But with the added oil, it still doesn’t work. I know the risks of adding these types of oils, but honestly, I don't care if I end up destroying the heater. I initially used gasoline because I ran out of diesel and needed the heater to run.

I was considering manually adjusting the altitude settings to increase the air intake and reduce the fuel pump speed—or maybe the other way around—but I can’t find this option anywhere. I’m thinking it might be mechanically controlled rather than software-adjustable?

Does anyone know how to adjust these settings?

I have the Vevor 8kW diesel heater with the Bluetooth app.
