Newly diagnosed

I was diagnosed during an eye exam on Friday (opthalmologist I went to for a large amount of floaters). Went to urgent care on Saturday since I don't have a PCP. Getting that set up. Urgent care gave me a 30 day prescription for metformin. I'm still kind of in a daze, though I know I'm to blame for ignoring the signs. Opthalmologist says my eyes are treatable (by injection yay). Despite the intense shame I feel my family and friends have been incredibly supportive. I'm here to learn, thanks to you all for being here.
