Hey y’all! My friend was manipulated and financially exploited by someone she met online who took advantage of her kindness and trust. Over the course of a year, this man deceived her into believing he had feelings for her while using emotional blackmail—such as suicidal threats—to extract money from her. Despite coming from a financially stable family, he took a total of ₹32,000 from her under false pretenses, claiming to be in debt.

Now that she’s asking for her money back, he keeps making excuses, saying he sent the money to his friends and cousins, yet refuses to take responsibility. She has proof of all the transactions and is willing to accept even small repayments of ₹2,000 per month, but he continues to avoid paying her back, despite having a stable job.
