Not holding prediction, losing connection?

I just updated to the latest firmware on my 1st gen thermometer, booster and display. I'm having a problem now where the thermometer drops prediction and connection, and then fails to reconnect for a period of time. It's not any sort of physical barrier; everything is within about 20 feet of each other and the thermometer is just in a chicken breast baking in the oven. I think it's stabilized now, about halfway in. Just weird. Is this happening for anyone else?
