Chozen was originally going to end up with Kumiko

As the title says, the writers intended for Chozen and Kumiko to end up together. But Tamlyn Tomita couldn’t make her availability work, so episode 12 had to be massively re-written to take Kumiko out (that episode was also the last one filmed in the series).

What do you guys think? Would you have preferred this ending for him?
