Good classics in spanish?

Hey all I've been studying spanish for the past five years or so and am looking for some good classics in spanish.

Thus far I've read Cien años de soleadad, and El señor presidente.

19th century or later preferred as I'm unsure of my ability to read archaic Spanish. I'd also be interested in reading some women authors as thus far I've only read from men. Thanks for any and all suggestions!
