The EXTREMELY simple explanation for why Josh Allen is the MVP over Lamar Jackson

The Bills offense is averaging 2.97 points per offensive drive this season.

The Ravens offense is averaging 2.82 points per offensive drive this season.

(This is despite the fact that Bills backup QB has spent more time than Ravens backup QB on the field this season)

I'm not trying to diminish the rest of the Bills offensive roster, including the O-line which has been very good this season.

But are the offensive pieces around Allen better than the offensive pieces around Lamar? Absolutely not.

The reason the Bills offense has been better than the Ravens offense this season is because of Josh Allen.

Add to that the fact that the Bills as a team have 2 fewer losses than the Ravens, including over the Chiefs and Lions.

That's why Allen should be the MVP this season.
