Postpartum alopecia (round bald patch)

I hope I’m not alone and can recover from this (or it doesn’t get worse). August 11th will mark 6 months pp. I have experienced typical hair loss and shedding but now I have a round patch of hair loss right on top of my head. I was told by my dermatologist and my hairstylist that it is likely stress or something auto immune and try not to stress about the stress…which is a vicious cycle of course. Is this something anyone has experienced before? I’m so nervous it’ll get worse and spread or never re-grow. It won’t let me add a picture but maybe I can DM a photo if anyone wants to see. Thank you!
