Leaving Canada for America

My parents are thinking of moving to America for better business opportunities and studies. I obviously wanna stay in Canada because of the safety. They are thinking of Texas Austin and we would be going to a suburb etc. But I have a decent chance of going to Toronto. They keep saying how there’s protection, etc and how I’ll get my medication. But I personally do not want it and wanna stay in Canada for my schooling. I do wanna go to an American uni but it’s not worth it for my safety. My doctor said San Francisco and California is good etc but i wanted actual trans people opinion.
