Sunburn sent me into mania

Got back from the field and my chest is as red as a lobster. I didn't use sunscreen because I'm native and brown as shit but my chest is whiter than the audience at an ICP show.

About 24 hours in, it starts to get itchy and burns so I apply aloe, I immediately go into a manic episode.

I'm hyperventilating, I can't think, everything is itching and burning. It feels like I have fire ants crawling under my skin and I want to peel my skin off. I'm genuinely scared and panicked because I've never had this happen before.

It got so bad I was crying in the shower just hugging myself which gave me 20 seconds of relief. Then when I get out, it starts again and I'm back in panic mode.

I'm 10/10 tweaking at this point, if there was a potato peeler I'd literally start removing chunks. (Thankfully I'm too poor to own one)

I'm shaking trying google "sunburn bad insane want to rip skin off".

Finally I get an answer and it's called the "Satan's Itch" and you have to just suffer or go to the ER and get meds to knock you out from the mania.

Well anyways guys, I took benadryl, ibuprofen, ambien (prescribed) and melatonin. I have also been curled up in a ball hugging an ice pack.

Wish me luck biggie cheeses.

Also I'll have a Double cheeseburger, add A-1 sauce, bacon and blue cheese crumbles please.
