I hate the mislabeling of Caitlyn

Maybe I'm just very sensitive, but I strongly dislike when people call Caitlyn a dictator, a fascist, or any other ill-fitting descriptor. It's genuinely baffling how many people seem to struggle to differentiate a militarized society under martial law from literal extremist nationalistic ideologies.

A dictator is someone who holds absolute power over a state without any constraints. That power is often achieved through means such as force or coercion. Caitlyn was appointed commander by Ambessa, who's a general. A general focuses on higher level strategy and big-picture decisions, leaving the tactical execution and day-to-day operations to their subordinates, e.g. their commanders. Caitlyn's job as commander is to lead Piltover's military units, ensure the city's security and stability, as well as to act as the local "face of Piltover". Though she does have some autonomy through that, she is still below Ambessa in the hierarchy of leadership. Not a dictator.

Fascism advocates for an autocratic state led by an infallible dictator, uniting the nation through extreme nationalism and the identification of common enemies (whether internal or external). It relies heavily on propaganda, suppression of any opposition, and often aims to create a homogenized society. Literally not congruent with any of her deliberate behavior or motivations portrayed in the show.

I'm not entirely sure if some people use these labels in a joking or exaggerated way, but I've seen way too many who genuinely believe they're accurate... Sorry for the long rant LOL
