Is Primerica an MLM scam?
An insurance salesman wanted to sell a policy to a friend of mine, a single mother with a baby. In her best interests I agreed to sit in on the meeting.
It started off fairly normal, with him showing the differences between life insurance policies, how much equity you could save up if you started when you were 30, etc.
But then suddenly alarm bells went off when they guy started showing us how much money he makes, and then asked us flat up if we'd like to make an extra $3000 or $6000 or $10000 a month by selling insurance ourselves.
Then he breaks open this book of photographs of (mostly) couples who earn at least $100K through America, leading up to the special pages of people who earn $1M+.
All I wanted to do was see my friend get much needed life insurance for her little baby. Have I just wasted two hours of my life?
