Why do people have a problem with Ciri becoming the protagonist of TW4?
The story progession of the TW3 clearly points to Ciri being the next protagonist. A lot of people do not like the idea of Ciri becoming Witcher even though one of the ending of TW3 leads to Ciri becoming one.
People points out that in the books, women and adults do not took the trials because their bodies cannot handled it. Well Ciri is special which has always been emphasize in the books and games so I believe she can handle that mutations.
People also dislike that Ciri has an OP abilities and yet still choose to focus on melee combat like a Witcher instead of becoming a powerful mage. Well, Ciri is trained to be a Witcher and that will always be in her. It is possible that at the beginning, Ciri still hasn't mastered her abilities and as she and the player progress, we unlocked more skill and utilize those special powers.
And to people saying they do it just to have a "girl boss" main character, well Ciri has always been a girl boss. That is her character.
Let me know if you have a problem with Ciri as the protagonist of TW4 and why.
