Mouse pointer jumping but only on windows screen?

I can't upload a video but I would if I could. I was trying to install a doom mod last night, and for whatever reason it would make my mouse move weird but only on the windows home screen. On any other applications it moves perfectly fine, but it's JUST ON THE WINDOWS SCREEN AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY. I've tried changing my polling rate in Razer synapse, and it works fine at lower polling rates but I want it to run at 1000. I have tried deleting and reinstalling my root usb driver and that didn't work. I have tried my hardest to wipe anything even doom adjacent from my PC and that didn't work. I have turned off and on my PC more times than I can count and I just don't know what to do anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am on an Alienware ryzen Arora r10 with a Razer basilisk x hyper speed.
