Whisper Veil Camo Issue

The new cooperation warzone camo whispering veil requires you to kill operators pinged by a squadmate 3 times in a single match, but it doesnt seem to be tracking correctly for me so far. Has anyone else had any success, me and 4 man quad all ran combat scout just to ensure we could ping people as often as possible and I still havent gotten anything completed.
