XC70 D5 2016 vs r-design d4 2017

I currently own a d4 r-design v60 with 217k kms on it from 2017 (2018 model). Second owner, well kept and drives smooth. Had it polestar optimised. I do around 35k kms or more a year with work and family. Been eyeing a 2016 XC70 D5 awd summum with around 200k and good service history for around 7k euros more than my current car is worth (DK based). Absolutely beautiful. I would like a bigger car for my two kids (1 month and 4 yo) I would have to pay a bit extra in tax annually, but the rest would be similar in consumption, insurancy and such. I am a bit worried about the diesel regulation in Europe and Denmark going forward, but man is it a nice looking vehicle.

Would it be worth considering or should I just go straight electric volvo or like a Polestar 2?
