Theoretical question.

I’m 17 and I applied for an apprenticeship at a retail store. I’ve heard they have clauses that mean you have to stay for a certain amount of time after the apprenticeship ends. Theoretically, if I were to get sacked would I have any debt with the company or am I free to go?
