Prequels that ACTUALLY enhance the original.

You know, I have a few problems with Red Dead Redemption 2, the way they handled Red Dead 1's past isn't one of them.

When I've first played Red Dead 1, I was okay with not knowing much about John's past, just have him be this weathered cowboy with a mysterious past.

But I'm honestly glad that Red Dead 2 focuses on it, because it genuinely made me care for Javier, Bill, Dutch, and the others who came back.

These guys are Arthur's family, so killing then in Red Dead 1 hurts a lot more.
