Rules on pay and hours for submission

Had a few jobs this year before I landed where I’m currently at, before this I spent 17 years at the same place so tax time was the same for me for 17 years straight

Just curious on jobs I had where I lasted maybe 4-5 hour before quitting, (didn’t feel like the right fit)

Do I have to report the income to them? I know the short is yes, but if I worked only 4 hours would they even send a W2?
