Weird Braking Noise

I recently got myself a 23 Tiguan SEL 4Motion R Line. I absolutely love this car.

However, it’s been a little disheartening to discover a really awful braking noise. Rotors look great, pads look great, but if the car has been sitting for a period of time my first few slow stops have an awful wiry/ grinding noise. It feels a little rough even. Harder stops or stops from a faster speed don’t make this noise. It also kind of just goes away after I’ve been driving for a while.

I’ve read a few threads talking about what the brake pads are made out of these days and that could be the cause but it’s not much to go off of.

Has this or does this happen with anyone else? I feel like I’m losing my mind over this.
