Hear me out

I don’t understand why the Outsiders movie has two soundtracks. One of them being what I assume to be the original soundtrack and the other one being some crazy 60’s beach like music.

I admit, some of the music from the second OST are catchy but it feels so out of place to listen to it during the more dramatic scenes like the church fire and Dally getting gunned down.

I honestly prefer the original soundtrack so much more.
