2x XP Ends tomorrow

Dev's will the game be playable before the end of 2x XP, or will 2x XP be extended to make up lost time not being able to play and all?

Also, why was private matches changed to not earn XP (or is this a bug)?? This is a shot in the foot to all new players. They can't "catch up" outside of public matches now.
