TI-83 with all black screen. How to fix?

TI-83 Plus. It's not the contrast. I've got brand new batteries and tried everything I could find on google. When I turn it on the screen is all black. Like every pixel is filled in. I have TWO calculators doing this. Anyone know how to fix?
