Liquidity / Emergency found

What tools do you use for short-term liquidity? For example: ETFs, bonds, or savings accounts. I wanted to start setting aside some liquidity for the short term or as an emergency fund, but I'm not sure which tool to use since my income and expenses are in CHF currency.

I also considered diversifying between USD and EUR with money market ETFs, but it seems like a too complicated strategy.
