Why is Tall Tales so bad?

I feel like this is the type of post that will get my asshole torn to shreds, so let me clarify, like all of you I'm a huge fan of the show. That's why the bad episodes stick out like a sore thumb. Like I could just tell from the whole, "recounting of last night", framing device that this one was gonna be a stinker. Idk man. What do you guys think?
