How to enjoy writing lyrics?

I love writing songs when it comes to the instrumental but I really don't like writing lyrics. I'd even venture to say I hate writing lyrics. Right now I have 3 songs that I just can't be bothered or inspired to write lyrics for. Is there something I can do to make writing lyrics more enjoyable.
