Theory on Cobell

Well, even I think this is far fetched considering the little we’ve seen from Cobel’s home life.

Could Cobel have a lover in the same situation as ms. Casey? Hence her obsession with her and Mark, why she looked a little heart broken when Milchick pointed out they don’t remember each other.

Mrs. Selvig mentions a late husband, maybe he was also raised on Lumon institutions like she seems to have been. Or was a faithful employee like her. Or another relative, a sister, something.

If she has a loved one on the test floor, that would explain her “rebel” behavior but ultimate loyalty, cause she needs Lumon to be safe to protect who she loves.
