Cape Coats are Great!

I got a cape coat for Christmas. It's the kind of garment designed by and for the United Kingdom and Ireland. It's perfect for Seattle weather!

• Keeps the drizzling rain off.
• Warm, but not too warm. Good for mildly cold temperatures above freezing.
• Remains warm when wet.
• Drys quickly. (use a fan if it's really wet)
• Keeps the wind off, letting warm underlayers do their job.
• Keeps everything you're carrying dry, including grocery bags and headphones.
• Hood up means "no contact" / Hood down means "open to contact"
• Quick and easy to sling on or off your shoulders.

Random people keep telling me it's cool, but they didn't get or wear one because it makes them self-conscious. It stands out because nobody else is wearing one.

I think we need to start a new functional fashion trend. As fit as they are for this weather, it's a wonder they're not more popular.
