So someone had posted recently about not actually being a descendant of Charles Shaw Jr because of the info you get from the dr office when you're sneaking around. And that's true- if you have book smarts it gives you that prompt. BUT- if you have street smarts too, it clarifies (a thought I also had when I first read the file) that no one can confirm or deny the birth or death, so it's all reliant on Edwardine. And I think we can all say that the word of her baby daddy's murderer means very little.
