PayPal requested outside of FB checkout for marketplace item.

I came to an agreement to purchase some golf clubs on marketplace (shipped) and they are okay with G&S but just sent me their email in messenger and said to pay there and not with PP thru FB. Will that cause any issues getting protection if I need it?
