Walkability Ratings - More in depth than just city level

Husband and I are trying to figure out the best location for our family over the next few years in the USA as we don’t see it being where we currently live. This will be dependent on what the job market looks like for both of us but I am trying to map out some options with the realization that to secure good schools we likely won’t be in the middle of a downtown area which would be my preference as walkability is a big priority. So likely we’ll be seeking out suburban areas with a metro feel and access to city. Any good places to get walkability scores or reviews that are not just based on US city downtown areas ??
