Which books/book series did you regret starting?

For me:

1) The Cruel Prince. Dnf @ 70% of book 1. Fell into the hype of TikTok. Regret my decision to buy the series when it was on sale. Didn’t enjoy the characters or the story line.

2) Shatter me series (not strictly fantasy). First three books were fine. FMC became annoying. MMC had a complete butchery of his character. Won’t be finishing the series.

3) City of Ruin by Charissa weaks. The first book, the witch collector was good. The second book had too many POVs and too many characters introduced that I lost track and got confused. Wasn’t interested enough to keep going.

4) Crescent City. Regretfully I hated this series. The FMC is my least fave of all time and Hunt became a disappointment. Rage read most of it. Ruhn and Lidia were the only saving graces.
