Books where FMC who thinks all she can offer MMC is sex & MMC falling for her fast/hard but she doesn't notice
So, I just read {It Had To Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips}. The books was very dated (there are references to Trump and OJ Simpson that aren't great). The MMC was not great either. But I loved the FMC and I wish the book spent more time delving into her issues and her intellect.
Are there any other books where the FMC is seen as a slutty bimbo and she thinks she can only offer sex to the MMC? I don't care if she's actually promiscuous or she's faking it. She might also want to be a bimbo for reasons (ex. she unconsciously equates her value to how much men want her, she wants to be able to control her interactions with men, she wants men to underestimate her, etc.). Or she might just be seen as a bimbo through no fault of her own, except societal prejudice (ex. Elle Woods).
* She just needs to be seen as the "slut". And she needs to have internalized this feeling of only being good for sex.
I want the MMC to fall for her pretty fast and hard, as well as realize that she's more than the slutty bimbo he pegged for her in the beginning. I want the FMC to not notice the MMC falling for her because she doesn't think its possible. And if they have sex it would be nice if at first she treats it like a ONS while he wants it to mean something more.
MMCs prejudices against her should be changed in the beginning of the book. And after he realizes he was wrong about her, he should not name call her or treat her like shit when he's angry. (This has happened in books like the {Empire of Hate by Rina Kent} and It Had to Be You, and so many other misunderstood FMC books, so I am tramatized). In fact, he should be working towards helping build the FMC and make her see she's more than a sex object.
Bonus points if FMC does something that makes MMC's friends or other people realize she's not as dumb as they assumed.
No huge age gaps, mafia, or poly books. MMCs should only be slightly asshole-ish in beginning and after it should be him doing the work to convince FMC he sees her as more than a sex object.
Book that kinda fits this:
{In the Game by Sloane St. James}
