Decided not to renew my membership after 3 years and the way I’m treated now is so different.

I was an unlimited PB member for just short of 3 years, and in 2024 my husband paid up front for an unlimited membership for a year. During this time I decided to try other things through ClassPass and got really hooked on F45, and so I decided to ask my husband for an unlimited membership there for 2025. After about 500 PB classes in, I felt like F45 pushed me more and was more aligned with my physique goals, and the variety of classes made it fun and challenging.

The instructor at my PB that initially signed me up back in 2022 and whom my husband contacted to purchase an unlimited membership has done a complete 180 on how she acts towards me. She confronted me in a pretty rude way asking why I wasn’t renewing, and no answer seemed good enough for her. She kept pushing me to do a 4 or 8 class/month membership and said that she was really hurt that I wasn’t renewing. She barely speaks to me now when I do come in 1-2 times a week through ClassPass. She used to be so friendly and asked me all the time about my wedding planning and family.

Her attitude really left a bad taste in my mouth and it’s made me reconsider ever signing up for a membership again with them. I never received 500 socks or was asked to sign the barre when I hit that milestone, I’m assuming since I informed her I was leaving shortly before I completed my 500th class. I do love a Classic class every week or so, but I’ve made it a point to avoid this instructor from now on. It’s just really upsetting and I don’t know if anyone has had similar experiences.
