DIY - Small bathroom - Pex A / B?

Hello. We are finishing our basement and installing the supply lines ourselves. We (my dad and I) did my last house with Pex B and a manual crimp ring. It worked well.
My new house has all Pex-A.

Any thoughts on best practice for a DIY'er? I was thinking of Pex-A and buying everything (Tubing, fittings, shut offs, etc) from a local supply shop (Versus a big box store). Thoughts?

-If I go with A, should i rent/buy an electric expansion tool or just use a manual one? Either way i have to buy/rent/borrow. I have a crimp tool and rings for B.

-What kind of stub-out method is preferred for drywall (Toilet, vanity, shower)?

-Best shut off recommendation? Pex right into a 1/4 turn?
