Love hate relationship

I love Pinterest because it’s the one place I feel like I can collect ideas effectively and find inspiration.

I HATE -the ads (and mostly from sites like temu) -the slop AI that is taking over -the constant updates that usually make things worse (taking away notes, added by, the weird new star?) -the very accusatory violations even though you only pinned someone else’s pin that wasn’t even inappropriate -the random bugs and glitches, my app crashing when I do a visual search

Like seriously, I go on Pinterest to relax and glean the best parts of life, creativity, life wisdom and community. But lately I get so frustrated with the app itself that I could scream. Part of me wonders if I should just quit using it, but it’s where all my recipes, art ideas, and wedding concepts are.

If it keeps going downhill I swear I will print my pins and physically pin it to my walls. Rather that then be forced to wade through 95% AI and Ads
