The current poe2 endgame system discourages engaging in challenging content.

Little ‘rant’ here but it also is good feedback overall

The current major issue I have is the punishing system of deaths. Losing experience and the way stone + the atlas boost is very irritating with the current state of the endgame.

Let’s take a breach stone for example, a new player low on currency can decide two things - do I exchange this breach stone or go attempt to fight the breach boss?

Now keep in mind, if they die it’s a xp loss and a loss of over 200 exalted orbs at the time of writing, this is the first of many scenarios where a player is punished for engaging in challenging content.

Citadel? Same premise, they are worth a lot and once your at arbiter if you die 6 times in a row you not only will lose a ton of experience but a ton of currency as the boss can no longer be fought.

Mapping has a similar issue, if a map has to many dangerous mods your best off not running it as you risk losing a ton of experience and the good parts of the map like your breach.

I can’t be the only one who thinks it’s a bit dumb I have to lose experience if I want to attempt new bosses, or participate in challenging waystones
