Filing a provisional patent in South Africa through the CIPC online system

Has anyone filed a provisional patent application in South Africa through the CIPC online system before? I want to do it, but I am nervous and I want to make sure about a few things before I do it. I have sent them a query, but they are notoriously slow in replying.

Specifically, I need to know:

After filing my application, I should receive a number as proof of submission. I need to know how that number will be sent to me. Will a document with the number be sent to my physical address in South Africa? Or will I be able to see it on the CIPC online system? (It sounds like a minor thing but it is important, because I am not in South Africa at the moment).
