❗ Attendance Issue – 2% Short, Need Advice ⁉️

Hey everyone,

I’m a first-semester student, and I’m facing an attendance issue in one of my 2-credit-hour courses. Due to a family health emergency, I missed a few classes, and my attendance is currently at 71%. Even after attending the remaining two classes, I’ll still be 2% short of the required 75%.

I also have 10 absences in total (8 absences + 2 approved leaves), and I’m unsure whether leaves are counted separately or as part of the total absence limit.

I’m really worried that I might be dropped from the course or won’t be allowed to take the final exam. I’ve done my best to catch up, but I’m still anxious about the situation.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice on what I can do to resolve this, or any chances of getting some leniency in cases like this?
