I was wondering about the wonder pick trick

On Twitter a week maybe 2 weeks ago I saw a video where someone screen recorded the wonder pick shuffle to find the card and it worked so I tried it 4 times that day and 4/4 times I got what i wanted but now it never works does anyone know if that was patched
