180° Nature Documentaries look phenomenal on PSVR2

So, I've always been a fan of nature documentaries. From the days of PSVR1 and getting Littlstar to work to the demise of Rad on PSVR2, it was clear that this experience was just so limited on the console itself. I mean there was Trinus and iVRy but they were kind of jank. I spent several evenings tinkering on those with PSVR and gave up. The built in media player somewhat sideloads content, but then I hit the wall of USB storage limits and the sizes FAT32 could take. Or something. It got too complicated and wasn't worth the effort.

Enter PSVR2 and the PC adapter... this thing just works.

It's almost a complete plug and play experience once the setting up is done. I've found Play'a works consistently for me and works well for videos downloaded to view offline. I hear DeoVR, Gizmo, BigScreen, VLC, seem to work when I researched it. I just went with the first free one I downloaded and seemed to work well enough, didn't particularly need all the bells and whistles. And once it's up and running... the resolutions are incredible! At 4K downloaded videos, the images are crisp and the OLED display just pops with colour and detail. Additionally I never knew I needed the 3D audios - the recent documentaries often feature an ASMR component that the surround sound almost feel like the wind through your ears. Genuinely feels like you're there. Incredible. I had buyer's remorse when I bought the adapter on impulse, thinking it wouldn't be stocked in again for another quarter but I've been wrong.... it's been the best bang for buck I've spent recently.

tl;dr Nature docs on PSVR2 might be the best thing the PC adapter has given me, despite my initial hesitance to purchase one. No regrets.
