Melee focused builds?

Just wondering if there is a build that is comparable to most gun builds out there. Obviously I'm not looking for bingo or boom boom levels of damage (I wish lol) but like strikes that could take down most bosses without getting bodied quick.

I find the stop sign and fish a hilarious melee weapon and would love it if they were my main playstyle
