To resign or not?

I have been really trying to decide if I just hand in my resignation letter for next month or not. The only thing holding me back is takiy ako na when I do resign my higher ups would somehow brand me as irresponsible at hindi ako bigyan ng recommendation letter which I might need on my next job. I am currently a team lead in my company and handling 2-3 projects at this moment. Most of those projects are ending na, although there is another one they are trying to get and plan to assign to us. Im not happy na with these company and have been deliberating on resigning for almost 8 months already...Should I just submit it and try to weather out the consequences?
