Trace of Metal - softlocked at the Atlas beacon section?

I have tried to interact with the beacon 4 times now, I verified files, but every time I get stuck in that zoomed in dialogue state unable to look away from the beacon itself I genuinely don't know what to do as I can't seem to figure how to fix it

I can't open any menus either I can pulse but it's slow and just presses my ship against the beacon...

edit:people are saying the latest patch fixed it!)
